50% Penalty Protection

VertBuild will cover up to 50% of eligible penalties due to:

Failure to notify client of known compliance deadlines
Missed jurisdiction-specific updates already tracked by VertBuild
Inaccurate data delivered as part of our Penalty Risk Forecasting tool

Exclusions:

• Missed filings due to client inaction
• Inaccurate property data provided by client
• Low confidence score situations where outreach was requested but not authorized

Turnkey Plan

100% Penalty Protection

VertBuild guarantees full coverage (up to 100%) of any fines arising from:

Late or unfiled compliance reports for buildings actively monitored
Incorrect exemption status determination where VertBuild was responsible
Jurisdictional rule changes that were not proactively caught and escalated

Conditions:

• Client must onboard properties into VertBuild's system
• Client must respond to outreach requests within 5 business days
• Override of VertBuild recommendations voids protection for affected buildings

General Terms Across All Plans

Guarantees apply only to buildings with active monitoring at the time of the compliance event
Maximum liability per building is capped at 3x the monthly subscription fee
All claims must be submitted within 90 days of the penalty notice
Coverage begins after successful property onboarding and system activation
